Artwork Guidelines
Perforated Flyers Explained
Perforated flyers combine the impact of traditional flyer marketing with the added benefit of a detachable section. They're ideal for vouchers, coupons, event tickets, entry forms, special offers, tear-off contact details and more.
DL Perforated Flyers
Our most popular perforated option is the DL flyer with a perforation positioned 90mm from the right-hand edge. This creates a convenient tear-off section that's perfect for tickets, vouchers and promotional offers.
Do I Need to Set Up My Artwork Differently?
No. Simply create your artwork as you normally would and we'll take care of the perforation during production.
If you'd like to indicate where the tear-off section will be, you can include a guide in your design, but this is not required.
How Are Perforated Flyers Made?
Perforated flyers are produced in a similar way to our standard flyers and leaflets. Once printed, they are passed through specialist finishing equipment.
Instead of creating a traditional crease line, a perforation wheel is used. This wheel creates a neat row of tiny holes across the sheet, allowing the section to be torn away easily while maintaining a professional appearance.
The result is a clean, easy-to-tear finish that's perfect for promotional campaigns, events and customer response forms.
